We celebrated the Children's Day at PGIMER on November 14, 2012. The event was fun for both the children and volunteers from Nanhi Jaan.

Neonatal-pediatric ventilator for Govt Hospital, Chd
16th September, 2015
On 21 March 2015, a neonatal-pediatric ventilator and an ABG machine was donated to the pediatrics department of the Government Multi-specialty Hospital, Sector 16 Chandigarh.
Both machines, costing approx Rs 15 lakh, were not available in the department and helped to take the pediatric department of the hospital to the next level of tertiary care.

On 12 November 2014, Small Wonder School and Volunteers of Nanhi Jaan playroom celebrated Children's Day at Advanced Pediatric Centre in PGI.
Mrs Hardeep Nama, Principal of Small Wonders School, along with the teachers, handed over puzzles, toys and games collected by the children of their school for the play area.

TV & DVD in Blood sampling room for children

We set up a TV and DVD to play cartoons in Blood Sampling Room for children at APC in PGI. The idea is to help divert the attention of the children while blood samples are being taken. Stickers and posters have been also been put up. More decorations for this room are on the way.
Injectable antibiotics worth Rs 2.5 lakh donated to PGI

On September 7, 2013, we donated injectable antibiotics worth Rs 2.5 lakh to Advanced Pediatric Center, PGI. The medicines were received from Lupin Laboratories.

Painting Competition Result

The painting competition was a tremendous success. About 500 children participated from 12 leading schools of Chandigarh. The Prize Distribution function will be held on Feb 25, 2013 at Art Folio, 531, Sector 9, Chandigarh at 5.30 pm. Mr Naunihal Singh, IPS, SSP Chandigarh, will be the Chief Guest.

Unfortunately, Gursewak, the second child adopted by our Project expired on November 23rd, 2012 because of severe sepsis and renal failure. Immediate cause of death was massive pulmonary haemorrhage. We donated five Baby Warmers to Govt. Multi-Speciality Hospital, Sector 16 on November 1, 2012, The Nanhi Jaan Team thanks all those who contributed towards the cause.
Each Baby warmer saves on an average 20 Pre-term banies a month. Your donation towards this cause will help save at least 100 lives a month.
